Leadership does not mean being the foremost, It instead means being the first one to do duties and follow the rules. To inculcate the same value in children, the school council was constituted at SJPS Naraina, on 11th August 2011. The Head Boy , Head Girl, Astt. Head Boy, Astt. Head Girl and the council members were allocated office and were conferred with duties. The new office bearers assured the school of their sincerity and co-operation. The Principal, Ms.Nisha Obheroi congratulated the council and advised them about their duties and responsibilities.
Bonding the Past, Present and Future
Salwan Junior Public School, Naraina organised Grandparents' Day at school. It was a day which saw the Grandparents coming to school for an exhibition specially put up for them and inaugurated by them. They got an oppoutunity to visit their Grandchildren's school, mingle with their teachers and experience a colourful cultural programme hosted in their honour. In her address to the Grandparents, Principal Ms. Nisha Obheroi conveyed that the event aimed at bringing the children closer to their grandparents by bridging the gap between them; by making them realize that it is the grandparents who make their childhood complete. The grandparents were elated and overwhelmed with the efforts put in by the school to honour them. The exhibition specially organised to showcase their own nostalgic belongings, was the highlight of the day. The event successfully strengthened the bond of understanding and co-operation between school and parents further.
